Our Lomi training is a combined personal training and massage training, that offers a deep insight into the traditions and secrets of the Hawaiian healing art - a training that goes far beyond mere cognitive understanding and a sequence of flashy techniques. No two massages are alike; each is an individual journey.

With us, you can learn basic and advanced skills. In addition to key technical principles, you will learn to accompany the person receiving the massage emotionally, supporting their process while being centered and grounded yourself.

After learning the basics, your own impulses will flow more and more into the Lomi: It will become your Lomi massage, which you can adapt with competence and vary to fit with the needs of your clients.

The special thing about our training method is its holistic approach: We address you on a physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual level. This will enable you later on to create treatments which are also multi-layered, using all your senses and skills, providing an awakened, holistic massage.

The teaching environment is warm and open and we make sure that group sizes remain manageable. This ensures that you get the personal attention you need as you progress on your path of learning. Learn at your own pace and receive personalized support for the deeper processes that you may enter.

We teach the individual massage principles with a simple step-by-step method, presented not as a fixed script, but as possibilities for you to cherry pick. You are free to choose the parts that make sense to you and your receiver at any given point.

EMBODIMENT - LEARNING THROUGH EXPERIENCE

One popular tool we have is our short 4-hand sequences. Here we massage with you side-by-side on the massage table. Your body learns naturally - like that of a child - and can store the experience in your muscle memory. The same applies vice-versa, when we practice on you and you receive the massage (2-hand or 4-hand).
Because receiving is also a kind of learning, is an understanding on the physical level.

Practicing body awareness is considered to be be just as important as the massage technique itself. We experiment with and practice breathing, movement and voice and support you to find your own personal expression in contact with clients. You learn to trust your intuition, to centre yourself and to focus. Accompanying exercises enhance your quality of touch. All of this is incorporated into the individual seminars.

In addition to the massage itself, we impart valuable background knowledge and practice Hawaiian Huna philosophy. Personal development methods are regularly incorporated. Throughout, we are right there at your side with our rich experience and knowledge.

Our training is for anyone who wants to touch others consciously and reach them on a deeper level - be it in a private or a professional setting.

By the end of the training you will be able to competently, independently and professionally give Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massages whilst possessing the tools and confidence to support your clients emotionally should it be needed during the session.
