Summer OHANA
OHANA MEANS FAMILY
And it holds a special place in Hawaiian culture. It refers not only to one's immediate family, but
to the entire social, material, and spiritual environment with which Hawaiians are connected.
Family also means: No one is forgotten or left behind.
The Ohana provides protection and gives you the freedom to connect more deeply with your true self and to develop your strengths.
OHANA CREATES COMMUNITY
For 6 days in summer , the big Lomi Ohana (Hawaiian for "family") comes together!
This summer week is the heart of our Lomi training.
In addition, we open our doors and invite all Lomi Practitioners (including those from other Lomi schools) who feel a deep connection to Lomi massage.
Lomians of different levels of training from all over the world meet at a powerful natural location with a bathing lake. In the focused yet informal atmosphere, everyone can learn from each other, practise together, and share experiences.
During shared meals, on a walk in the woods, while dancing, or around the campfire in the evening, there are opportunities for personal exchange and integrating the experiences. Of course, you can also sit by the lake with a book or meditate in silence.

LOMI – SUMMER OHANA
WEEK A) AUGUST 7–12, 2026
WEEK B) AUGUST 15–20, 2026
The theme of the OHANA week in 2026 is: CONNECTION..
Let's share, nourish and strengthen together and connect with the power of nature. Bathing together, laughing, but also being allowed to cry, diving deep—perhaps you will rediscover yourself completely.
It takes trust—and courage—to truly connect: with yourself, with others, with what’s alive in the moment. We will create a grounded, consent-based container where we can explore together.
In this little paradise, located about an hour from Berlin, we will once again be lovingly accommodated and fed with good vegetarian organic food.
You are in the right placeif you are at least in Module 2 of our training, have been practicing massage for a long time, or have comparable experience from other Lomi schools.
Look forward to a daily, personalized Lomi Lomi massage (optional participation). Our beautiful, spacious seminar room transforms into a playground: inspirations from various massage styles and bodywork are welcome – please bring your experiences and wishes. We will weave them together with and complement the Lomi Lomi massage.
Mutual support and inspiration are important to us.

In practical terms, Lomi massage (giving and receiving) offers a diverse range of topics.
We focus particularly on BODY READING.
What does it mean to understand body language as a way to perceive the body's messages? We listen with our senses, see with our hearts, and read with our hands. We refine our intuition and perception to sense the "right moment": using movement and stillness, choosing the appropriate pace, or playing with intensity and gentleness. In doing so, we utilize the elements of earth, water, fire and air.
We explore the influence of breath, movement and voice and practice non-verbal body communication.
Truly feeling "seen" during a Lomi massage can trigger deep inner peace in the recipient. And perhaps, it can offer them the opportunity to find a new, loving connection to themselves.
Other topics during the summer OHANA week may include:
- Two- and four-hand Lomi massages
- Introduction to Lomi in Motion
- Gentle turning of the person on the massage table
