ALOHA & Welcome!

Lomi Lomi traditionally stands for realignment: letting go of the old and giving life a new direction.
Now in spring, we invite you to give this transition space — with clarity, softness, and a sense of exploration.

At the “OPEN Lomi Day,” we move together from head to body. You’ll learn the foundations of mindful touch and first Lomi massage techniques, explore your perception, and sense the connection between body and nervous system. A day that grounds you in your breath and brings you back to yourself — gentle, alive, and deeply nourishing.

We are Anja and Jana, sisters who founded Lomi Training Berlin over 10 years ago. As body and breathwork therapists, trained in trauma work, emotional process facilitation, dance, and yoga, we bring a deeply holistic approach to our work.
In Hawaiʻi, in 2019, we were authorized by our teacher and Kahuna Harry Uhane Jim as Kumu (teachers of Lomi) to teach Lomi Lomi and bring this healing practice to people in Europe. This vision guides our work.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY

from 3:30 pm

Welcome: Arriving & tuning in

4–5 pm

Introductions: Presentation of the team and participants,
“What is Lomi Lomi?”

5–6 p.m.

Lomi Lomi Massage (live demonstration)

6–8 pm

Try it yourself: give and receive your first Lomi Lomi massages . Whether clothed or with oil, however you feel comfortable – our Lomi team will support you.

8–9 pm

Exchange & Questions: Open discussion on all topics related to Lomi.
Your experience on the day and the training with us.

9–10 pm

Closing circle and integration

No prior knowledge is necessary.

Can I join on my own or together with a partner?

Both are possible. In our courses, we often work with changing partners to open up a range of different experiences.

If you have registered together with another person, you can of course do all the partner exercises together.

Consent is the basis for all our practices.

Costs

Early bird 75 €

from April 8 onwards: €90

If you feel on that day that Lomi is your path and decide to sign an apprenticeship contract, the amount will be credited towards your training program.
